For more than half a century, whenever two full Moons appear in a single month the second full Moon is christened a “Blue Moon.” When you look at the full Moon on Halloween night, it won’t appear blue in color but you’ll be looking at something pretty uncommon. A full Moon on Halloween occurs roughly once every 19 years....once in a Blue Moon. Join us at South River for this cruise event. S/V Jupiter, Tom and Diane Carbone, are your cruise captains. Jupiter will be anchored on October 31st down South River to the right at Southwest Creek, a beautiful Anchorage about 2 1/2 miles into South River, and to the right, at 3 pm. The depth is 8’ to 10’ throughout the cove. Jupiter will be monitoring Channel 72. Covid aware, And because of social distancing measures, please dinghy up to Jupiter to get your kielbasa, pepper, and onion sandwiches....with spooky sides. We will also have water and soda. If you don’t have a dinghy, no problem, Scary Tom, from Jupiter, will dinghy deliver.
