Bishop's Marina at Matthews Point Dock N' Dine

SCOO’s LAZY DAYS OF SUMMER CRUISE

Take a short leisurely sail up the Neuse River to Bishop’s Marina at Matthews Point located on Clubfoot Creek. Old Seasoned club members can reminisce about previous trips to this idyllic spot in years past. Younger Newer club members can experience the tranquil waters of a new cruising location close to home.

Our tentative plans thus far include:

--Early Bird Special – arrive before 2:00 pm for cold watermelon (pit spitting contest optional)

--Senior Citizen Wine/Beer Tasting – 3:30 pm bring your favorite wine/beer with the label removed/covered. We’ll vote on each wine/beer and the winners will each receive a prize. We’ll supply cheese and crackers to clean the palate.

--Happy Hour – 4:30 – 5:30 – A great opportunity for those that did not win the wine/beer tasting to be consoled and to hear the latest version of often told sea stories

-- Dinner – 6:00 pm – We’ll supply hamburgers and hot dogs; you supply the side dish or dessert.  

Bishop’s Marina is a full service marina. Dockage is $2.00 a foot based on slip size. The marina has a dinghy dock for those wishing to anchor out.
